Griffin is 1

Griffin had his 1st birthday party on Saturday. He had a curious george theme; it was so cute...

I caught him in the act. He is discovering all the new things he is able to do.
Now that Griffin is completely walking on his own , he gets into everything!

This weekend we went to my brother's wedding. It was very beautiful. They are moving to California August 1. We wish them a very long and happy life together. Their dog Ace was even involved the ceremony (he had on a tux).

River Walk

This morning we got up and decided to take a stroll down the River Walk downtown. It was absolutely beautiful. Griffin really enjoyed it.

Griffin is finally starting to walk (on his own). He is not fully mobile yet, but when we have him walk back and forth to Chip and I, He does it for about 15 minutes at a time. I haven't posted any pictures this week because we have been sooo busy. I went to a CPR/First Aid class 3 nights this week. Tuesday was my B-day and we went out with some friends.. It was pretty fun. I turned the big 28 this year.. Wow does time fly.. Things are going to be busy this next month. Chip and I are both going back to school, and closing on our house. We are going out to check the house tonight so I will post some updated pictures soon..

Pool party

This past Sunday we went to a pool party for one of Chip's co-wokers. Griffin had so much fun in the pool. He liked the little floating ring so much, that we came home and ordered one off of the internet. He sat in it for hours. It's the best one I have ever seen. It doesn't tip at all.

I'm sure they don't come any sweeter than this.....

I am still not quite sure how he managed this one.....

Tod ay, Me, Chip and Griffin took a boat to Lee Island with Chip's co-workers for a 4th of July celebration. Griffin enjoyed his first boat ride very much. Tonight we are going to see the firework show... It will be Griffin's first firework experience..
